On 14 May 2014, H.E. Mr. Tomwit Jarnson, Ambassador of Thailand to Pakistan, attended the holy rituals to mark Visakha Bucha Day at International Buddhist Centre in the Diplomatic Enclave, Islamabad. The ceremony organized by Sri Lanka Embassy in Islamabad to commemorate the Buddha’s three major incidents - his birth, enlightenment, and death and also to observe the Buddha’s teachings.  Ambassador of Myanmar, Ambassador of Vietnam, the Embassy officials and families also participated in the event.
