On 10 October 2021, The Royal Thai Embassy in Islamabad, in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan and Islamabad Cycling Association, hold a cycling event under the theme of “Green Cycling” in celebration of the day of 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Thailand and Pakistan. The cycling event was also aimed at supporting Pakistan’s Green and Clean initiative to combat the ongoing global warming. The participants included high-level officers from both sides as well as Islamabad Cycling Association. Thai side was led by H.E. Mr. Chakkrid Krachaiwong, Ambassador of Thailand to Pakistan while Pakistani side had H.E. Mr. Asim Iftikhar Ahmad, the Additional Secretary and Spokesperson of the Foreign Ministry of Pakistan, as a leader.
