On 10 November 2013, the Thai community in Pakistan organized a welcome dinner for H.E. Mr.Tomwit Jarnson, Ambassador of Thailand to Pakistan at the Thai Club of the Royal Thai Embassy in Islamabad.

During the function, the Ambassador exchanged views with Thai people, especially with Thai students attending the welcome dinner. In his words of appreciation, he was deeply touched by the harmony and unity of the Thai community in Pakistan and expressed his appreciation for the warm welcome and hospitality accorded to him by the Thai community ever since he arrived in Pakistan.
