On 10 May 2018, H.E. Mr. Pornpop Uampidhaya, Ambassador of Thailand to Pakistan granted 50,000 Baht of Thai Government supporting fund (under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Department  of Consular Affairs)  to the Thai Students Association in Islamabad, who has been very active and supportive to the Embassy in Consular Affairs. Moreove​r, the Ambassador also awarded another 30,000 Baht of the Thai Government supporting fund to Mrs. Promporn Sodsai, Thai Chef, who has contributed and dedicated her private time voluntary working with the Embassy for almost 16 years.
