On 27 April 2018, Mission received a new Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, H.E. Mr. Pornpop Uampidhaya at the Benazir Bhutto International Airport.

           The new Ambassador was received by the Head of Chancery , the Defence and Military Attache of the Royal Thai Embassy, Islamabad, and protocol officers from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan.  He was later brought to the VIP room and was greeted by ASEAN Ambassadors/High Commissioners and Charge d' Affaires to Pakistan.
