On 17 June 2016, H.E. Mr. Suchart Liengsaengthong, Ambassador of Thailand, had a discussion with H.E. Ambassador (Retd.) Shahid Kamal, former ambassador of  Pakistan to Germany and the son of the former ambassador of Pakistan to Thailand. A variety of issues concerning the bilateral relations between Thailand and Pakistan were raised during the discussion.
