On 30 January 2016, Mr. Loechai Jantarasombat, Chargé ď Affaires a.i. of Thailand, attended a reception hosted by Colonel Prasert Muadjienga, Defense and Military Attaché, Office of the Royal Thai Defence Attache, Islamabad, on the occasion of the Royal Thai Armed forces Day at Marriott Hotel, Islamabad.  About 300 distinguished guests comprising ambassadors, diplomatic corps, defense and military attaches, Pakistani and private sector, and the Thai community including Thai students attended the event with  Lieutenant General Malik Zafar Iqbal, the Commander of the 10^th Corps, as Guest of Honour.
