On 7 April 2021, Thai Students Association in Islamabad IIUI’s newly elected president, Yahya Waemamu, along with members of the committee, paid a visit to Mr. Muhammad Lutfee Useng, Chargé d'affaires of the Royal Thai Embassy Islamabad, Mr. Adisak Showichen, Defense and Military Attaché, and the embassy officers.

        The committee has introduced the team in each positions and responsibilities, and ask some advice on how to manage and run the association. Both have also exchanged views and discussed on scheduled projects which will be closely working together with the embassy such as the Iftar nights, a celebration day on Eid al-Fitr, and various student capacity buildings and developments throughout the years. In addition, the embassy provided 750 pieces of face-mask and has urged students to follow Pakistan’s SOPs during the third wave of the pandemic in the country.
