On 17 February 2021, Mr. Muhammad Lutfee Useng, Chargé D'Affaires of the Royal Thai Embassy in Pakistan, has participated in virtual bilateral meeting between H.E. Mr. Itthipol Kunplome, Minister of Culture of Thailand and H.E. Mr. Shafqat Mahmood, Minister of Culture of Pakistan. The two ministers recalled the longstanding friendship and partnership between Pakistan and Thailand as this year marks 70^th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries. Both sides exchanged views on the promotion of cooperation in culture and people-to-people contacts and also shared planned celebration projects. Some cultural projects would come with the theme of Gandhara civilization which is considered as essential historical linkage between the two peoples.
