On 5 May 2018, H.E. Mr. Pornpop Uampidhaya, Ambassador of Thailand and the Embassy’s staff, attended the Convocation Event of Thai students to congratulate 13 Thai students who will officially graduate from the IIUI at the end of this semester.   The event, taking place at the Alama Iqbal Auditorium, Faisal Mosque,    was also attended by Dr. Tahir Khalily, Director (academics) of the IIUI,Dr. Tariq Javed, Students’ advisor and Dr. Abdul Qadir Haroon, Assistant Advisor. 

      The event was  jointly organized by the Royal Thai Embassy, Islamabad, and the Thai Students’ Association in Islamabad and is part of this year’s activities of the Embassy designed to build strong network of Thai students studying in Pakistan and to empower Thai community living overseas.
