On 5 January 2017, Mr. Suchart Liengsaengthong, Ambassador of Thailand to Pakistan, led a team from the Embassy to visit COMSATS Institute of Information Technology (CIIT) at Islamabad.   Ambassador was welcomed by Dr. Arshad Salim Malik, Head of International Office, Dr. Abdul Aziz Khan, Head of Metrology Department and their staff.  Future collaboration and academic exchanges between the Thai side and the COMSATS side were raised during a very friendly conversation.
