On 3 March 2016, Mr. Zahid Sarwar, a Pakistani businessman residing in Lahore, paid a courtesy call on Ambassador Suchart Liengsaengthong. The Thai Ambassador noted and supported the intention of the Pakistani guest to establish a Pakistan – Thai business association based in Lahore to facilitate trade, investment and tourism between the two countries.  They also exchanged  views on a number of economic issues.
