On 25 February 2016, H.E. Mr. Suchart Liengsaengthong, Ambassador of Thailand, met with a group of senior executives of the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry to explore ways to bolster trade volumes between Pakistan and Thailand.  The group expressed its interest in organizing exhibitions highlighting all business potential sectors of both countries in Pakistan and Thailand .
