On 22 March 2015, H.E. Mr. Tomwit Jarnson, Ambassador of Thailand to Pakistan, presided over the Annual Sports Competition with the Thai Students Union, Islamabad. Over 100 participants comprising Thai students in Pakistan, the Embassy’s and Team Thailand’s officials including their families participated in the event. Football competition was organized for male students while volleyball and chairball and other sport activities such as sack race, and moving ping-pong ball with chopsticks race were organized for the females. This Sports Competition is held every year to promote unity and harmony among Thai students and strengthen ties with the officials of the Embassy as well as encouraging the students to play sports for health.
