On 8 August 2014, Mr. Loechai Jantarasombat, Chargé d’ Affaires a.i. of Thailand,  participated in the ASEAN Flag Raising Ceremony organized by ASEAN Islamabad Committee (AIC) at the Indonesian Embassy, Islamabad. The event was attended by over 70 people comprising ambassadors, officials and their families of ASEAN member  countries.On this occasion, Mr. Mohzin Razi, Additional Secretary (Asia Pacific), Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, who was invited as chief guest, delivered a speech praising the role and developments of ASEAN, especially in political and economic aspects. He reiterated that Pakistan attached great importance to its ties with the ASEAN countries and also affirmed Pakistan’s commitment to further enhance cooperation with ASEAN in all dimensions.
