On 29 July 2014, Mr. Loechai Jantarasombat, Chargé d’ Affaires a.i. of Thailand, attended Eid al-Fitr celebration organised by the Royal Thai Embassy and the Thai Students Union, Islamabad which marked the end of the one month fasting. More than 100 students from International Islamic University, Madrassahs in Rawalpindi, Raiwind, Talagang, and Karachi including Thai community in Islamabad, officials of Embassy and Office of Defence Attache attended the event. On this occasion, Chargé d’ Affaires a.i. of Thailand expressed his admiration to the Thai students and Muslim people for their devotions and commitments during Ramadan. He also appreciated the Thai students for their efforts in organizing this event and wished everyone happiness as well as good health.
