On 1 March 2014, H.E. Mr. Tomwit Jarnson, Ambassador of Thailand to Pakistan, participated in the Annual Sports Competition with the Thai Students Union, Islamabad. Over 100 participants comprising Thai students in Pakistan, the Embassy’s and Team Thailand’s officials including their families, as well as Indonesian students in International Islamic University, Islamabad participated in the event. Football competition was organized for male participants while chairball and other sport activities such as stepping on balloons, speed eating race, and five-legged race were organized for female. This Sports Competition is held every year to promote unity and harmony among Thai students and strengthen ties with foreign students as well as encouraging the students to play sports.
