On  1 September  2011, from 18.30 – 21.00 hrs., Ambassador Marut Jitpatima and Mrs. Jiraporn Jitpatima accompanied by Team Thailand officials and their spouses attended the dinner organized by the Thai Students Club in Pakistan to celebrate Eid ul Fitri at the Royal Thai Embassy.   On this occasion, the Ambassador gave an opening speech and emphasized the Royal Thai Government and the Royal Thai Embassy’s continued support of  the students’ education, well-being and activities  in Pakistan.  He also briefed the Thai students of the Government and the Embassy’s activities especially the humanitarian assistance rendered to the Pakistani flood effected people.  And lastly, Ambassador urged the students to be careful and alert on spending their daily lives and to stay indoors especially during the time of security crisis.  

The student’s leader  expresses thanks and appreciation, on behalf of the Thai students studying at the International Islamic University, Islamabad and  at the Madrassas in the Northern area of Pakistan, to the Government and the Embassy for their  continued support which is useful to their studies and well being.    

After the dinner, the students enjoyed karaoke singing and playing games.
